← Your Public Website

What your visitors see

You already met this idea in Essentials. Here is where it pays off.

   THE APP THE PUBLIC SITE
staff, login, sidebar anyone, no login
        | |
        +-------- same records --------+

edit a service in the app -> the page changes

Nobody “publishes the website”. You keep records up to date, and the site is a view of them.

That is why a price you correct on a Tuesday afternoon is correct on the public page a moment later.

How your addresses are built

Your public pages all follow one shape.

  feeprime.com / yourbusiness / en / services
                 ^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^ ^^^^^^^^
                 identifier lang section

Swap en for another language you publish in, and you get the same page in that language. Swap the section for updates, courses, shop and so on.

Knowing that means you can go straight to a page instead of hunting for a link. And you can hand a colleague an exact address rather than describing where to click.

Sections appear when you have something to show

Your public menu is not a fixed list somebody set up.

A section appears because the module behind it is switched on and has something in it. No services means no Services link.

So when a section is missing, the question is never “where is the menu setting”. It is: is that module switched on for this business, and is there anything in it yet?

What this course covers

The parts of your site, in the order visitors meet them. The landing page and branding. Your own standing pages. News. Services and bookings. Your team. Opportunities. And who hears from you by email.

Products and the shop have their own course, so they are deliberately not here.

Try it

On staging.feeprime.com, open your practice business in the app, and open its public site in a second tab.

Change the tagline in one, reload the other. Everything else in this course is a version of that loop.
